The sudden drop in mercury took the residents by surprise, leaving many shivering and busy shopping for thick blankets. Amidst this unusual weather, a video is going viral online in which a woman is capturing pictures of a foggy morning from her balcony.
The clip, shared on Instagram by a woman named Rajashree Bhuyan, is captioned, “Bengaluru inside the fridge”, which reflects the humid and cold atmosphere prevailing in the city. Who has captured his morning scene on camera while battling the cold in the city.
Along with the video, she posted a caption that read, “Temperature is dropping… misty morning… covering with blanket… feeling cold.” It was a funny but spontaneous sentiment that resonated with many residents of Bengaluru who were experiencing a sharp drop in temperatures.
The normal maximum temperature in Bengaluru in November is usually around 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. However, on Saturday, the temperature of the city was much lower than the average temperature here, due to which online discussion started about the unusual weather.
IMD has attributed this drop in temperature to absence of sunlight, cloudy sky and effect of cyclonic storm.
