Remembering Dharmendra during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ on Saturday night, Salman Khan said, “The country has got a very big shock. The fans have got a very big shock. The industry has suffered a big loss and shock. I think you understand whom I am talking about. Well, may God rest his soul. I wish I was not doing this Weekend Ka Vaar.”

When and how did Dharmendra die?
Dharmendra, who left his acting mark in more than 300 films, died on 24 November 2025 at his home in Juhu, Mumbai. He was struggling with age related problems. Dharmendra, 89, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in early November after complaining of difficulty in breathing. On November 10, he was put on a ventilator and on November 11, false news of his death was spread in the media. It is said that Dharmendra remained on ventilator for two days and on the morning of 12th November, Deol family hurriedly discharged him and took him home. Dharamji’s treatment continued at home for the last 12 days of his life, where all facilities like ICU ward were provided.
