The earnings of ‘Coolie’, directed by the location Kanagaraja, have fallen by about 17.7 per cent on the second day (15 August) on the first day (on Thursday, August 14). This action drama could not get the benefit of Independence Day. However, on the second day too, the film crossed the 50 crore mark and coded about 53.50 crores. Whereas, War 2 earned Rs 56.50 crore on the second day after earning 51.50 crores on the first day.
