When Will Ganesh Chaturthi Festival Be Celebrated This Year?

The Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated by the end of August this year. The festival will be celebrated on 27 August. The Ganesh Chaturthi Tithi will begin on August 27 and will end on August 28.

According to Drik Panchang, the Ganesh Chaturthi Mahurrat will begin on August 27. The Madhyanha Ganesh Puja Muhurat will start at 11:05 am and will end at 1:40 pm, lasting for two and a half hours.

Ganesh Visarhan will be carried on September 6, 2025. Additionally, devotees are supposed to avoid moon sighting on August 26 from 01:54 PM to 08:29 PM and from 09:28 AM to 08:57 PM on August 27.

-Get up early on Ganesh Chaturthi. Take bathe and wear fresh clothes.

-The next step is to prepare the place for Ganesh Sthapna. Devotees cover a wooden lank with a piece of red or yellow fabric or cloth. Decorate the place with flowers.

-They also prepare Prasad for Lord Ganesha. They often prepare Laddoo, Modak, Barfi, Panchamrut as PRasad for Ganesh Chaturthi.

-Bring Lord Ganesha idol with huge pomp and show. Then place the idol on the wooden plank.

-Sprinkle Ganga Jal and perform Puja. Auspicious items like haldi, kumkum tilak, Yellow flowers, meetha pan, etc are also used in the Ganesha Puja.

-Perform Ganesh Aarti with all the family members and friends. Offer prasad to other devotees, friends and family.
