Vishwarang-2025: ‘Language and culture complement each other’- CM Mohan Yadav

Dr. Mohan Yadav said in Vishwarang-2025 that language and culture complement each other and Hindi is creating a global identity. Writers from 70 countries participated in the festival. The program is promoting literature, art, culture and youth creativity.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that language and culture always strengthen each other. Culture gives narrative and literature to language, while language gives expression to culture. Hindi language is associated with public life and today India’s identity is being formed on the global stage. He said that Indian culture has always been based on the spirit of ‘live and let live’ and that is why it has a distinct identity in the world.

Vishvarang- welcoming litterateurs, artists and youth in 2025

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ‘Vishwarang – 2025 Tagore International Literature and Art Festival’ organized at Rabindra Bhawan, Bhopal. He welcomed the participants from India and abroad. He said that the land of Madhya Pradesh has become a bridge connecting Hindi language and Indian culture. Bhopal has become a major center of global literary dialogue. The festival is hosting representatives from many countries, art exhibitions, poetry readings, sessions and cultural programmes.

Literature is the mirror of the society, Vishvarang promotes creativity.

The Chief Minister said that literature is a spiritual practice and litterateurs are sensitive creators who give direction to the society. He said that events like Vishwarang enhance creativity and sensitivity in the new generation. Referring to the humanity and global vision of Rabindranath Tagore, he said that Vishwarang-2025 is a big platform connecting literature, art, music and culture.

Mention of global identity of Indian culture and indentured history.

The Chief Minister said that every country in the world has its own culture, but India has always moved forward with the spirit of world brotherhood. During the British rule, Indians were sent to work in other countries and were called indentured servants. Today, litterateurs, artists and cultural patrons from 70 countries have come to Bhopal for Vishwarang, which shows the worldwide acceptance of Indian culture.

India gave the message of ‘fraternity’ during the Covid period

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India gave life to the spirit of ‘live and let live’ by sending medicines to many countries during the difficult times of the pandemic. The heads of state of some countries thanked the Prime Minister and expressed their gratitude by touching his feet.

Vishwarang’s global recognition in seven years

Dr. Santosh Choubey, Founder of Vishvarang Foundation and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, said that this event, which started from only 16 countries in 2019, has now reached more than 70 countries. This year more than 70 litterateurs from 40 countries have come. at the festival-

This festival is also associated with skill development and employment of youth. He told that now Madhya Pradesh government is also taking steps towards taking this event forward at its level.
