Ayodhya. A huge crowd of devotees is gathering to have the darshan of Ramlala in the new grand Ram temple built in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Even on Thursday, the third day of the religious flag hoisting, long queues formed in the temple premises since morning. It is estimated that in the whole day, around one and a half lakh devotees visited Ramlala and the peak of the temple in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
Enthusiasm increased after religious flag hoisting
After the consecration of Ram Lalla on 22 January 2024 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the religious flag was hoisted on the peak of the temple on 25 November 2025. Many special guests were also invited on this occasion. Yogi government paid full attention to making the event grand and successful. The program received great appreciation in the country and the world. The enthusiasm of the devotees remains intact even three days after the end of the ceremony. Devotees from far and wide were arriving from four in the morning for darshan. Despite the cold, people were waiting for hours.
‘Jai Shri Ram’ echoing everywhere
Darshan started from morning under the arrangement of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Devotees are reaching Ram temple via Ram Janmabhoomi path. As soon as the devotees see the idol of child-like Ramlala seated in the sanctum sanctorum, shouts of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ echo from the mouths of the devotees.
Competition to capture the grand decorations on camera
The temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. The entire complex lights up at night. People are seen taking selfies and photos at various places to capture this scene in their mobile cameras. Crowds of people taking selfies were also seen in front of Ram Mandir, Ram Path, Hanumangarhi and Kanak Bhawan.
Devotees do not feel like leaving Ayodhya
Devotees are openly praising Modi and Yogi government. Devotee Arvind Chaturvedi, who came from Madhya Pradesh, said that Ramlala returned to his home after 500 years and all this was possible because of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Mrinal Verma, who came from Patna, said that Ayodhya has been given a new look by both the leaders. He told that despite having return tickets for Friday, his children are insisting on staying for one more week.
Special facilities for disabled and elderly
The Uttar Pradesh government has made strong security arrangements. Police and PAC personnel are deployed in the entire area. A large number of volunteers have been deployed to ensure that the crowd does not face any problem. Drinking water, wheelchairs and necessary assistance are available. A separate queue has also been made for the elderly and disabled.
