Lucknow 19th National Jamboree 2025: International Youth Forum emerges with the theme Developed Youth-Developed India

More than 32,000 youth participated in the 19th National Jamboree held in Lucknow. Increased participation of girls, adventure activities, AI workshops and international delegations made the event special. The two-day drone show was the main attraction of the jamboree.

Lucknow. The 19th National Jamboree and Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Bharat Scouts and Guides has emerged as one of the most energetic and diverse youth gatherings of India. More than 32,000 participants from Asia-Pacific countries and various states of India participated in the event, which began on November 23 at the Defense Expo Ground in Lucknow. A significant increase in the participation of girls was seen in this, which is considered a major achievement of the event.

‘Developed Youth-Developed India’: Theme boosted enthusiasm

The theme of the 19th National Jamboree ‘Developed Youth – Developed India’ reflects the leadership of youth and their role in the progress of the country. This year the Jamboree witnessed a new inspiring dimension—girls took the lead in cultural performances, adventure activities and hi-tech learning modules. His confidence has emerged as a symbol of positive change in Scouting and Guiding.

Increased participation of girls in adventure activities and technical sessions

Young Scouts and Guides enthusiastically participated in the High Rope Challenge, Ground-level Adventure, Creative Arts, Modern Skill Development and various workshops in the Jamboree. The active presence of girls in the AI, innovation, leadership and technology based sessions was special.

The increased interest of girls in seeing defense models, simulators and interactive displays at the Indian Air Force’s Air Agniveer Exhibition was particularly notable, giving a positive sign towards change in male-dominated fields.

International delegations enhance the shine of Jamboree

To give a global dimension to the event, teams from many countries including Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Poland, USA, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Nepal participated. The strong participation of girls from these countries created a new atmosphere of colour, diversity and energy in the Jamboree. The presence of different countries made it a truly international youth forum.

Manipur’s outstanding participation among the states of India

Many states of India created their own special identity, among which Manipur was leading. Under the leadership of State Chief Commissioner (Retd. IPS) Mayanglambum Sushil Kumar, contingents of girls from Imphal East, Imphal West, Tamenglong, Maram and Thoubal participated enthusiastically in cultural performances, adventure sports and technical workshops. Grand drone show organized for the first time

The most attractive part of the Jamboree was the two-day drone show, in which hundreds of drones displayed the 75-year-old journey of unity, peace and scouting-guiding in the skies of Lucknow. Young girls were seen performing, participating in sports activities and leading creative presentations in every corner of the venue.
