CBSE CTET Registration 2026: CBSE has started the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session. Candidates who want to be eligible for teaching posts across the country can now apply online. The online form has been activated from 27th November 2025 and the last date to apply is 18th December 2025. Keep in mind, it is mandatory to submit the form and pay the fees before 11:59 pm on 18th December 2025. According to the official notice released, CTET February 2026 exam will be conducted on 8 February 2026. On this day, Paper 2 will be held in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon while Paper 1 will be held in the evening shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. - Last date for fee payment – 18 December 2025, till 11:59 pm

CTET 2026 Online Application: How to apply online?
- First of all go to the official website https://ctet.nic.in.
- Now click on Apply Online link.
- This will take you to the registration page.
- Fill out the authentication form.
- Select your state.
- Now select the type of identification (ID).
- Fill your name, date of birth, gender.
- After submission, you will get a registration number or application number, note it down.
- Now fill the complete online form, which includes- personal details, education qualification, contact information.
- Set your password.
- Upload photo and signature.
- Photo: JPG or JPEG, 10-100 KB, 3.5cm x 4.5cm
- Signature: JPG or JPEG, 3-30 KB, 3.5cm x 1.5cm
- Keep in mind that the application may get canceled if it is not uploaded as per the rules.
- Now pay the examination fee online.
- If the transaction is not OK, make payment again. The amount of failed transaction will be refunded within a week.
CTET 2026 Application Fee: How much will the fee cost?
Talking about fees, General, OBC (NCL) will have to pay Rs 1000 for only Paper 1 or only Paper 2 and Rs 1200 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Whereas SC, ST and PWD category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 only for Paper 1 or only Paper 2 and Rs 600 for both the papers. After submission of form and fees, download and print the confirmation letter and keep it safe. This will be proof of your application.
