Treatment of such a large number of patients is being considered a huge achievement in the government sector.

Principal of SN Medical College, Dr. Prashant Gupta said that the government has given clear instructions that there should not be any shortage in health services. Philips’ state-of-the-art Azurion 7 M Series cath lab has been installed in the Super Specialty Block, which is the first among the government medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Basant Gupta, Head of the Department of Cardiology, said that this machine enables them to perform complex stenting and other procedures with utmost precision. While private hospitals cost lakhs of rupees, here patients are getting treatment at low cost or free of cost.

OPD patient Vinod Parmar told that his treatment in the private hospital was very expensive. His treatment has started under the incurable disease scheme in SNMC, which brought him great relief.
Hanif, a patient who has undergone stenting, said that he thought that he would have to go to Delhi for treatment, but he got immediate and excellent treatment at SNMC itself. He said that this hospital has truly proved to be a lifesaver for him.
