US Finance Minister has warned

Because the same day ago, US Finance Minister Scott Besant has warned that if the meeting between President Trump and Putin in Alaska is not successful, then US can impose secondary tariff on India. The rate of tariff can be increased by more than 50 percent.
India has imposed 50 percent tariff
The US government has announced to impose 50% tariffs on India. Of this, 25% tariff has come into effect from August 7 and the remaining 25% tariff will be applicable from August 27. In Bloomberg’s interview, Besant said that we hope that Putin will be ready for a serious conversation. Looks like they are ready now.
