The reason for this is that Tulsi mother is considered to be the time of night rest and breaking her cards at night is against inauspicious and religious rules. The same rule also applies to flowers. It is forbidden to break the flowers after the evening.
Janmashtami is often worshiped in the Nishith period of the night, that is, around 12 o’clock in the night. In such a situation, if you did not prepare for the Tulsi Dal and the flower during the day, then you will not have the most important material at the time of worship.
Why is Tulsi not considered stale?
