DM has issued strict instructions to complete the Voter List Revision (SIR) in Noida on time. Now no officer, employee or BLO will be able to go on leave without permission. The administration will keep a strict vigil on the campaign which will run from November 4 to December 4.
In Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, the District Magistrate has issued strict instructions to complete the work of deep revision of SIR i.e. voter list within the stipulated time. Noida DM has clearly said that now no officer, employee or BLO can go on leave without permission. If someone has to take leave under any special circumstances, it will be mandatory to give valid reasons. This rule will be applicable on both general holidays and public holidays.
After the order of the District Magistrate/District Election Officer, a guideline has been issued in this regard. The SIR campaign, which started from 4 November 2025, will continue till 4 December 2025. According to ADM Atul Kumar, this campaign has to be completed on time under the instructions of the Election Commission of India. BLOs have been assigned the task of door-to-door distribution, compilation and digitization of enumeration forms between November 4 and December 4.

Process of claims and objections from December 9
Claims and objections will be taken from voters from 9 December 2025 to 8 January 2026. After this, necessary amendments will be made after considering these, and the final voter list will be published on 7 February 2026. During this period, instructions have been given to no employee to leave the headquarters.
District Magistrate Medha Rupam has given a clear warning to all the officers, BLOs, Tehsil personnel, accountants and teachers in the review meeting that no person engaged in SIR work will be given leave without prior permission.
Work will continue even during public holidays
The DM also said that despite it being a public holiday, all the employees will be present at the headquarters. He directed that departmental action will be taken against whoever violates this system. Instructions have also been given to all the employees to complete the work quickly and qualitatively. The administration has made it clear that any kind of laxity will not be tolerated.
