According to Drik Panchang, the date of Margashirsha Purnima is starting on Thursday, 04 December this year at 8.37 am. This date will end the next day on Friday, December 5 at 4:43 am. In this case, Margashirsha Purnima will be celebrated on 4th December. On this day, fasting, bathing and donation will be done. The time of moonrise on this day is going to be 4:35 pm.
Do these remedies on the day of full moon (Margashirsha Purnima Upay)
- During the worship of Goddess Lakshmi on the full moon day, red colored flowers must be offered to her. Along with this, Kanakdhara Stotra should also be recited. Ghee lamp should be lit. Mantras of Goddess Lakshmi should be chanted. By doing this remedy one gets the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
- On the day of full moon, apply ground turmeric on 11 cowries and offer it to Goddess Lakshmi during puja. Lakshmi Chalisa should be recited. Cowries should be tied in a clean red cloth and kept in the money place or safe. By doing this remedy one gets relief from money related problems.
