More than 33 thousand Scouts and 1,500 foreign delegates participated in the 61st National Jamboree held in Lucknow. Security pavilion of UP Police, Mission Shakti session, cultural program and youth empowerment activities made the event special.

The 19th National Jamboree has given Uttar Pradesh an opportunity to brainstorm global youth after 61 years. This huge camp situated in the Defense Expo Ground has become a unique example of the hosting and administrative capacity of the state.
Over 33,000 Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers from India along with over 1,500 youth delegates from several countries including Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia are participating in the event. The activity areas, kitchens, cultural platforms and teaching pavilions throughout the campus look full of excitement and diversity. This program organized under the leadership of Governor and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also become a symbol of the administrative efficiency and future vision of the state.

Special attraction of Mission Shakti and Security Awareness
The important attraction of this Jamboree is the Security and Technology Exhibition Pavilion set up by Uttar Pradesh Police. Here to the Young Scouts:

- Capabilities of Commando and Anti-Terror Squad
- fire fighting techniques
- Cyber security
- Practical experience of self defense training was given.
The priority given by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to women’s safety and youth empowerment is clearly visible in these sessions being run under Mission Shakti. Topics such as the role of women’s helpdesk and knowledge of legal procedures particularly influenced young participants.
Colorful event decorated with cultural exchange
India’s tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” comes alive as soon as you step into the Jamboree complex. The sounds of folk songs all around, the aroma of traditional dishes, the colorful costumes of different states and the enthusiastic youth turn this event into a cultural confluence. The drone show, grand parade and presentations depicting the heritage of Uttar Pradesh at the inauguration ceremony were the center of everyone’s attraction. This event has emerged as a strong example of the balance of modernity and tradition.

During this, detailed presentations were given about recruitment and career opportunities in Uttar Pradesh Police, Prosecution Department, Security Department and Special Task Force, which infused new inspiration among the youth.
