500 players from 23 states reached Bhopal, will show their strength on water waves

National Rowing Championship IN Bhopal: 8th Inter State Challengers and 45th Junior National Rowing Championship is being held in Radhani Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Bhopal News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Wednesday inaugurated the 8th Inter State Challengers and 45th Junior National Rowing Championship at the Boat Club located at Bade Talab, Bhopal. Also, while addressing the organized programme, he said – The state government is committed to the all-round development of the youth. The Sports Department is conducting various activities to encourage sports culture in the state. In the ancient culture of India, sports are not only considered entertainment but also a medium of discipline, balance and mental strength.

In ancient times, sailing, swimming and water training were considered important parts of tactical and physical fitness. The same tradition is present before us today in the form of water sports. It is a real test of technique, stamina and focus. It is a matter of pride and joy for the state government to host the Rowing Championship.

500 players from 23 states reached Bhopal

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the inauguration of the championship. He observed the march past presented by around 500 players from 23 states participating in the championship to the tunes of patriotic songs. When Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the venue, he was welcomed with a cap.

Madhya Pradesh’s water sports team won the title

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a better environment has been created for sports in the country. India is continuously making achievements in international competitions. Madhya Pradesh has brought pride to the country by winning medals in water sports at prestigious international platforms like Asian Games. The players of the state also performed brilliantly in the 38th National Games, Khelo India, Water Sports Festival held in the same year. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inspired the players from different states who came to participate in the championship organized in Bhopal to visit the tourist places located around Bhopal while getting acquainted with the art, culture and taste of Madhya Pradesh.

Water Sports Mahakumbh will run for 4 days

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang said that this 4-day rowing championship will be established as the Kumbh of water sports. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government is making efforts to encourage sports players and sports grounds in the entire state. Activities are being conducted for knowledge exchange at national as well as international level regarding sports and training required by players. Coaches and players from different states were present in the program.
