CM Mohan Yadav reached the police headquarters at night and held a meeting with the officers on the crime situation. Raisen SP was attached to the headquarters and Misrod police station in-charge was removed. CM instructed the police for strict patrolling and immediate action against criminals.
Bhopal. On the night of 25 November, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav suddenly reached the police headquarters. The Chief Secretary, DGP and other senior officers were present with him. CM took a meeting of police officers regarding the increasing crime and recent incidents in the state.
Displeasure over Raisen incident, SP headquarters attached
In the meeting, the Chief Minister showed a strict stance on the crime committed in Raisen. He directed to immediately attach the Raisen SP to the headquarters. Also ordered to remove Misrod police station in-charge.
‘Criminals should not be spared at any cost’ – strict instructions from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
CM said that there is a government of people and good governance in the state, hence stopping crime is the primary responsibility of the police. He clearly said-
- If a crime is committed, strict action should be taken immediately against the accused.
- No criminal should be spared.
- Police negligence will not be tolerated.
- Strict action will be taken against negligent officers and employees.
CM Mohan Yadav’s strong rebuke on police laxity
During the meeting, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed displeasure over the lack of arrest in the Raisen case. Other than this-
- He also expressed dissatisfaction over the weak action of the police during the blockade in Mandideep.
- Questions and answers were given to the Police Commissioner on recent incidents in the capital Bhopal.
- Took detailed report of all incidents.
Instructions to increase police patrolling and to keep soldiers on the roads
CM said that instead of sitting in police stations, soldiers should continuously patrol the streets. He reiterated that crimes will not be accepted in the state under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken against those who are negligent in public safety.
Bhopal Police Commissioner’s action after instructions from CM Mohan Yadav
After the strictness of the Chief Minister, Bhopal Police Commissioner also took action against two police station in-charges. Action was taken to remove both Tila Jamalpura acting inspector Dinesh Pratap Singh and Misrod police station inspector Sandeep Pawar.
