An officer quoted Dhage’s message in the clip as saying, “I am going to commit suicide, and you (mother) don’t take tension.” I want to be your child in the next life. Stay with Sumedh. I’m sorry.” Sushil’s family told the police that he had found the recent NEET-UG re-examination very difficult and he was very upset after giving the paper.

Authorities have now started a detailed investigation to find out if the student’s death has any connection with this national-level medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). At present, a case of accidental death has been registered and investigators are looking into all aspects of the case. “The family’s complaint mentions the re-exam of NEET. We are investigating the matter and seeing if there is any connection between the exam and this incident,” said an officer from Hingoli City police station.

Let us tell you that NTA had conducted the re-examination of NEET-UG on 21st June. Earlier, the examination held on May 3 was canceled amid investigation into the alleged question paper leak case. More than 22 lakh students were expected to appear in this re-examination, making it one of the biggest and most monitored examinations in the country.
