Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched development projects worth Rs 194 crore in Kolar. This includes a modern multi sports stadium, new Sandipani Vidyalaya and expansion of sewage network under AMRUT 2.0. Lakhs of people will benefit from these projects.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working for the welfare of the poor, farmers, women and youth. He said that as per the vision of the Prime Minister, the state government is making every possible contribution while focusing on development and good governance to achieve the goal of a developed India by the year 2047.
Dr. Yadav said that in this sequence, three big development works costing a total of Rs 194 crore are being dedicated to the people of Bhopal in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Nagar (Kolar) of Huzur Assembly. These include the inauguration of the new Sandipani Vidyalaya built in Katara-Barrai area, the inauguration of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Multi Sports Stadium in Kolar and the beginning of infrastructure construction works under AMRUT 2.0. The Chief Minister was addressing the Vikas Parv program organized in Banjari area.
Modern multi sports stadium inaugurated in Kolar
The Chief Minister said that a modern sports complex has been prepared on 9 acres of land in Kolar area at a cost of Rs 11 crore 50 lakh. This will provide better facilities for training and practice to the youth of Bhopal and surrounding areas. This stadium will be helpful in preparing future champions.
He said that the state government is promoting traditional sports like Malkhamb, Kabaddi, horse riding. Sports stadiums are being built in every assembly constituency, so that the talent of the players can emerge and they can bring glory to the state at the national and international level. The government has decided to provide government jobs (gazetted posts) to players who win medals in national and international competitions.
Gift of modern Sandipani school in Katara-Barrai
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the new Sandipani School built at a cost of Rs 29 crore in Katara-Barrai will provide modern education and resources to the students of the area.
Projects worth Rs 155 crore launched under AMRUT 2.0
Dr. Yadav said that today various works of Amrit 2.0 are being started at a cost of Rs 155 crore. This includes 700 km of sewage network, 9 sewage treatment plants with 171 MLD capacity and 1 lakh 21 thousand domestic sewage connections. This project will be completed in four packages.
After completion of the project, Bhopal’s sewage network will increase by 60% and the treatment capacity will meet 85% of the requirements by 2040. About 7 lakh people will get direct benefits from this and this scheme will be completed in three years.
Katara-Barrai will get a big sports stadium
The Chief Minister announced that a big sports stadium in the name of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay will be built in Katara-Barrai (Ward 85). He also announced construction of a new Dussehra ground on 16 acres of land in Kolar and a new police station in Kajalikheda for better law and order.
He said that the state government is taking strict action against goons and miscreants. Besides, 7 grand gates will be built in the name of great men on the major roads of Bhopal. Bhoomipujan of Vikramaditya Dwar on Indore-Sehore road will be held on 13th December. One gate will be dedicated to Raja Bhoj.
Tribute to the inspiration of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee
The Chief Minister said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was a great educationist, founder of Jan Sangh and a visionary. He had called Article 370 unfair for the country and in the national interest, he left the post of minister and led a movement in Kashmir.
Kolar got big development package – Vishwas Kailash Sarang
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that the Chief Minister has started a new stream of overall development in the state. Giving balanced importance to infrastructure, education and sports, Kolar region has got the great gift of Sports Complex, Sandipani Vidyalaya and Sewage Line. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that the Chief Minister is continuously expanding Sandipani schools in the state. Today, the inauguration of the school located at Katara-Barrai is a part of this series.
Government committed to the welfare of every class
Huzoor MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that the government under the leadership of the Chief Minister is dedicated to the welfare of the poor, farmers and all sections of the society. The new sports complex in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Nagar is a historic gift for the youth of the area, where arrangements for practice of 18 sports have been made.
