In ancient times, two men used to live in a city. One person was a businessman and the other person used to steal. The businessman used to go to the temple every day and worship God. He also provided food to the poor every day. That businessman also used to donate a lot. Whereas the thief would go to the temple but would return after stealing the donation money. One day it was raining heavily in that city. Due to rain there was no one in the temple that day except the priest. Seeing it raining, the other person who was a thief reached the temple. After some time, when the priest went away, the thief stole all the money of the temple.
Businessman accused of theft
After the rain stopped, the businessman also reached the temple. But unfortunately the priest of the temple considered the businessman a thief. He started making noise by shouting ‘thief-thief’. Hearing the noise, people around the temple also reached the temple. Everyone started calling that good businessman a thief. The businessman was surprised to see this. Then somehow he escaped from the temple. As soon as he left the temple, the businessman collided with a car and got injured. After reaching home the businessman started thinking in his mind, why is this happening to me only? I do puja daily and also donate to the poor.
punishment for deeds
Then after a few days both of them died. After death both of them reached Yamraj. Seeing another person in front of him, the businessman asked Yamraj, O Yamdev! I used to do good deeds all my life. Still I had to be humiliated. Even after donating, I continued to suffer throughout my life. But this sinner always remained happy while alive. Then Yamraj said, son, you are thinking wrong. The day you were hit by the car was the last day of your life. But because of your good deeds you were saved that day. Rajyoga was written in the horoscope of this sinful person but due to bad deeds he could not enjoy it. After this, Shri Krishna said to Arjun, Parth, now you must have understood why any person doing good deeds looks sad?
