Congress leader Supriya Srinet said on the SIR issue in West Bengal, “The issue of SIR is not a small issue. It is a very big issue. This is the most powerful means of vote theft and hence it is being done in a very fast manner. We want to ask the reverse question that in 20 days, about 20 BLOs have died in 7 states. Who is responsible for these deaths?… I believe that through SIR, names of people are being deleted on a large scale and Names are being added without filling the form…Whoever is asking, our questions are not answered..” On SIR, Congress leader Pawan Khera said, “How many infiltrators were caught in Bihar through SIR? Not even one of them was named… SIR is not an issue of the opposition, but an issue of every voter…”
