When is Goga Navami 2025?
According to the almanac, this time the Navami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start from August 16, Saturday night at 09:134 minutes, which will be on August 17, Sunday evening at 07:4:24. Since the Navami Tithi will remain throughout the day of August 17, the festival of Goga Navami will be celebrated on this day.

Who was Gogadev?
According to the prevailing stories, Gogadevji was born in the Chauhan dynasty in Vikram Samvat 1003. Gogadevji’s father’s name was Thakur Jewar Singh and mother’s name was Bachhal Kanwar. Gogadev was the ultimate disciple of Guru Gorakhnath. Gogadev is worshiped as the god of snakes. It is believed that there is no fear of cutting a snake from their worship. A huge fair is also held every year in Gogamehi, Rajasthan on Goga Navami, where people of all religions worship Gogadev.
How to worship Gogadev?
– After bathing on 17 August, Saturday morning, go to the temple of Gogadev or worship a statue or picture in the house.
– Offer Kunkum, rice, flowers and water to Gogadev. After this, offer kheer, churma, or halwa as per your wish. Offer gram dal also necessary.
After this, light a lamp of pure ghee and wear a flower necklace. Also perform the Aarti of Gogadevji along with the family.
– It is believed that all the wishes of those who worship Goga Ji Maharaj with true heart are fulfilled.
