Radico Khaitan Limited has added a new product to its premium whiskey portfolio. The company launched Rampur 1943 Virasat Indian Single Malt on Monday. The price of this single malt is between Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,500 per bottle. Initially this whiskey will be available in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi, after which it will be launched in the entire country. This whiskey is made from six-row Indian barley and is produced at the company’s Rampur plant located in the foothills of the Himalayas. This spirit is matured in American Bourbon barrels and then finished in ruby ​​port pipes. The distillery’s climate, which ranges from 45°C in summer to 2°C in winter, accelerates the maturation process.

Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, Radico Khaitan, said the launch represents the distillery’s heritage since 1943 and aims to give whiskey lovers an authentic Indian single malt experience. Chief Operational Operator Amar Sinha said that this product has been designed to make Indian single malt accessible to a wider consumer segment.

Radico Khaitan is one of the largest makers of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur and Aurangabad. The company’s portfolio includes Rampur Indian Single Malt Whiskey, Magic Moments Vodka, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin and 8PM Whiskey. It exports to over 100 countries and is a major supplier to the canteen stores department.
