Operation Sindoor: What message did Shri Krishna give in Geeta, which India accepted in Operation Sindoor?

Sri Krishna’s sermon

Shri Krishna Updesh: Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Army on the night of 6-7 May in retaliation for a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In this operation, India not only targeted the hideouts of terrorists but also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. Operation Sindoor was an action which was inspired by a message from Geeta. The country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh told about this in the International Geeta Conference organized in Kurukshetra on Monday.

What was Operation Sindoor inspired by?

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said at the International Geeta Conference, “Operation Sindoor was a symbol of India’s self-commitment and religion-based action. Lord Krishna had preached to the Pandavas that war is not fought for the spirit of revenge or ambition, but for the establishment of righteous rule and the protection of the self-righteousness and homeland. Inspired by this teaching, we followed the same Krishna message during Operation Sindoor.”

What did Rajnath Singh say?

Rajnath Singh said that in Geeta, Lord Krishna had also taught Arjun that the person who follows the path of religion is never afraid and never loses. This campaign of the country has given a message to the whole world that India will neither remain silent against terrorism nor will it ever become weak. Shri Krishna had explained to Arjuna in Kurukshetra that religion does not survive only through teachings; It is protected from karma and ‘Operation Sindoor’ was the religion-based karma that we adopted.

India is the land of ‘Gita’

The Defense Minister further said, “Innocent tourists were killed in Pahalgam by asking their religion. The terrorists and their supporters believed that India’s decency was its weakness. But they forgot that India is the land of ‘Gita’ and we gave them a befitting reply through Operation Sindoor. We completely followed the message of Lord Krishna during Operation Sindoor.”
