Sai Sudharsan Hundred: While on one hand the Indian senior cricket team has gone on tour to Ireland to play T20 series, on the other hand India’s youth brigade i.e. India-A team is on tour to Sri Lanka. The first match of the two unofficial Test match series between the two countries started from June 25 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. On the very first day of the match, India’s young star batsman Sai Sudarshan made headlines by scoring a brilliant century while batting brilliantly.
Sai Sudarshan scored a powerful century
In this match, India A team captain Dhruv Jurel won the toss and decided to bat first. This decision of batting first on the Galle pitch proved to be completely correct. Sai Sudarshan, who came on the field as an opener, presented a brilliant example of his technique and pushed the Sri Lankan bowlers on the backfoot. After setting foot on the crease, Sai Sudarshan scored runs continuously and took India A’s innings forward strongly.
Batting powerfully, he completed his century in just 130 balls. During his century innings, Sudarshan also hit 14 excellent fours. Thanks to his brilliant hundred, the Indian team was able to take an early lead in the match. During this, Sai Sudarshan also made a brilliant partnership of 82 runs with Ayush Pandey for the first wicket. Then along with Ruturaj Gaikwad he took the score forward.
