Sapna Rana, trained under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme, has been selected as a nurse in a hospital in Hamburg, Germany.
Ms Sapna Rana paid a courtesy visit to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. Sapna Rana received German language training under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme of the state government and successfully passed the language test. After this, she was selected for the post of nurse in Schon Klinik hospital located in Hamburg city of Germany. There he will receive a salary of 3060 Euro i.e. approximately Rs 3.30 lakh per month.
Government is connecting youth with global employment opportunities
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is making continuous efforts to connect the youth with employment opportunities available internationally. Under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme, Foreign Employment Cell has been formed by the Skill Development and Employment Department, which is working to provide employment to the youth in foreign countries.
He said that at present, through the Foreign Employment Cell, youth are being given training in related languages to provide them employment opportunities in Japan and Germany. Under this initiative, so far about 65 youth have been provided employment in Japan.
There are huge employment opportunities in the nursing field in Germany.
Cabinet Minister Shri Saurabh Bahuguna said that there are wide employment opportunities available for the youth trained in nursing field in Germany. Keeping this in mind, German language training program is being conducted by the Foreign Employment Cell, so that the youth of the state can get better employment in foreign countries. He said that by taking advantage of this training, Sapna Rana, a nursing trained girl from Tehri Garhwal, has been selected as a nurse in Germany. This is an inspiring achievement for the youth of the state.
Tehri’s Sapna Rana achieved international success
Sapna Rana received her schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pokhal (Tehri Garhwal). After this she completed her nursing studies from State Nursing College, Dehradun. After taking German language training under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme of the state government, he passed the required language test and got appointment at Schön Clinic Hospital in Hamburg city of Germany.
Sapna Rana’s success became an inspiration for the youth.
This achievement of Sapna Rana shows that by taking proper training and taking advantage of government schemes, the youth of the state can get better career opportunities for themselves even at the international level. Government-run skill development and global employment programs are playing an important role in giving new direction to the youth. Secretary Shri C. Ravi Shankar was also present on this occasion.
