PM Modi will hoist the flag on the 191 feet high peak of Ayodhya Ram temple. This ceremony is the announcement of the completion of the temple construction. Giving the message of social harmony, the event will be attended by 6000-8000 devotees from all sections of the society.
Ayodhya: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee Chairman, Nripendra Mishra, said the ‘flag hoisting’ is not just a public celebration but also an announcement to devotees across the world that the construction of the temple has been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the sacred flag on the 191-foot-high ‘Shikhar’ of the Ayodhya Janmabhoomi temple during a special flag hoisting ceremony tomorrow.
Mishra said, “The Lord is now in his rightful place in the temple. Lord Ram’s family now lives on the first floor – his brother, his closest ‘sevak’ Hanuman ji, and Sita ji. The family now lives in the temple. On the day the PM hoists the flag, its aarti will also be performed. So, it is indeed very important. Maryada Purushottam’ In line with Lord Ram’s message of social harmony, “the list of invitees is not just VIPs” but it also includes people from different walks of life. Devotees from all walks of life are included, including those who have never been invited before. They will represent the class with whom Lord Rama dined and used his facilities. We have been listening to the stories of Nishad ji and Shabari Mata since childhood. So, it’s a huge community… they’ll all be here.”
He said- Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, is supervising all the arrangements. Champat Rai is in-charge of all the arrangements…Keeping in mind Maryada Purushottam’s message of social harmony, the devotees invited to the event will represent every class and region. Since Ayodhya Dham is located in eastern UP, it was decided to invite devotees who have a very close connection with Ayodhya Dham. Therefore, a list of 6000-8000 people has been prepared.
Mishra said, “All the construction work will be completed by December 2025. The temple is ready. But other works, like our zero-discharge sewage control, will continue. Machines will be installed and they will start working. 70% of the 71-acre land has greenery, which includes ‘vatikas’, grasses, flowers, plants and trees. Through research, trees mentioned in the Ramayana have been planted here. So, all these things Will be completed.”
A large number of devotees reached Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Monday morning for ‘darshan’ of Lord Ram, ahead of the ‘Dhwajarohan’ or flag hoisting ceremony to be held on November 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the saffron flag on the summit of Shri Ram Temple tomorrow, a significant occasion which is expected to attract a large number of domestic and international visitors. PM Modi had performed ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ at the Ram temple on August 5, 2020, and the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony was scheduled for January 22, 2024.
