MP Sakshi IAS Dream: The story of Sakshi, a brilliant 12th class student living in Bhopal, is in discussion everywhere these days. Sakshi, who topped the school by scoring 92% marks, had a dream to become an IAS officer after studying. But the family wanted to get her married early. Despite every effort to continue her studies, when the pressure from her family increased, Sakshi took a step that no one expected. Stuck between studies and dreams, Sakshi had to take a big decision.
Sakshi, a resident of Bajaria police station area, was bright in studies since childhood. He topped in 12th by scoring 92% and made the entire family proud. His dream was to become an IAS. But the family members believed that girls did not need to study much and marriage was their real future. Sakshi kept explaining things to the family for several months, but when the pressure became too much, she left the house in January 2025.
Father approached High Court, police started search
After trying to search for a few days, when no trace of Sakshi was found, her father filed a Habeas Corpus petition in the High Court. On the orders of the court, the police started searching. During investigation, a note was found in which it was written that I will return home after becoming an IAS in 2030. After this the police searched the coaching centre, college and library. Then a big clue came when Sakshi updated her Aadhaar. This revealed that she has now become an adult and her location was traced to Indore. The police presented him in the court.
Big decision of High Court: Now a senior IAS officer will mentor Sakshi
When this matter reached the court, the judges gave such a decision which was taken for the first time for a student. Madhya Pradesh High Court directly handed over the responsibility of Sakshi’s education, security and guidance to a senior IAS officer. Now Bandana Preyashi, 2003 batch IAS, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, will be Sakshi’s official mentor.

Sakshi’s IAS preparation will be done in Patna
After the court order, Sakshi’s entire education and IAS preparation will be done in Patna, where Bandana Preyishi will herself look after him. Bandana Preyishi called it a good fortune for herself and said that it is a matter of pride for her to help a daughter fulfill her dreams.
