19th National Jamboree: Lucknow becomes the global capital of Scouts and Guides

The 19th National Jamboree began with registration of Scouts, camping and cultural programs in Lucknow. The Governor will inaugurate the event on November 24 and there will be a drone show, parade and presentations. The Chief Minister will attend on 25th November.

Lucknow. The grand inauguration of the Diamond Jubilee program of the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides will be held on 24th November. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel will formally inaugurate the Jamboree. Drone show, parade of Scouts and Guides and various cultural presentations will be special attractions of the program.

The event started with Scouts’ registration, camping and activities.

Registration of Scouts and Guides from all over the country has started from today itself. The Jamboree Ground has hundreds of tents of Scouts from different states and countries, making the entire area look like the global capital of Scouts. A 100-bed Jamboree Hospital and Blood Donation Camp were also inaugurated on the first day.

Lucknow becomes ‘Global Capital’ of Scouts and Guides

With the beginning of the 19th National Jamboree, Lucknow is alive with the activities of Scouts from all over the world. Colorful tents of scouts from different states and countries are giving the message of unity in diversity here. The event has become a major platform for cultural exchange, where young scouts are showcasing their talents, skills and enthusiasm on a global level.

Inauguration of Jamboree Hospital and Blood Donation Camp

On the first day, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak inaugurated the 100-bed Jamboree Hospital and Blood Donation Camp. The Scouts rehearsed the opening ceremony and gave several entertaining cultural presentations. This Jamboree is not only strengthening the spirit of social service and nation building, but is also giving a strong identity to Indian Scouting on the global platform.

Governor will inaugurate, Chief Minister will reach on 25th November

Governor Anandi Ben Patel will deliver the address at the inaugural ceremony to be held on November 24 at 3 pm, which will be followed by a parade of Scouts and cultural programmes. A drone show based on national symbols will be organized at night. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the cultural evening on November 25 and will encourage and guide the Scouts and Guides. Many competitions, cultural programs and miscellaneous activities will be organized in the Jamboree before 29th November.
