Gift of Rs 150 crore in MP’s Vidisha: CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated many big development works

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated 54 development projects worth Rs 150 crore in Ganjbasoda, Vidisha. New announcements were made for farmers, women and youth. The public gave a grand welcome to both the leaders in the road show.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Vidisha district has always been a strong center of nationalist ideology. It has been the birthplace of great personalities like Rajmata Scindia, former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj. Today this region is making a strong contribution to agriculture, industry and trade. He said that Ganjbasoda is moving from heritage to modern development. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working for the welfare of farmers, poor, women and youth. Keeping in mind the spirit of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ of Sanatan culture, the government is dedicated to extending the benefits of the schemes to the last person of the society.

Inauguration of civil hospital and development works in Ganjbasoda

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Sunday participated in the program of inauguration of the newly constructed Civil Hospital building and other development works at Ganjbasoda in Vidisha district. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Animal Husbandry and Dairying Lakhan Patel were present in the program. The program started with Kanya Puja. During this, the Chief Minister made big announcements like opening a new college in Tyonda, giving Nagar Panchayat status to Gyaraspur, increasing the limits of Ganjbasoda municipality and starting nursing and paramedical colleges here.

Major ongoing schemes for farmers, women and youth

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that many schemes are being run in the state in the interest of farmers, women and youth. Plans are underway to increase irrigation capacity and provide water to every farm through the River Linking Campaign. Under Bhavantar Yojana, fair price of soybean is being provided to the farmers and the amount is being sent directly to their accounts.

  • Wheat will be purchased from farmers at the rate of Rs 2600 per quintal.
  • The amount of Ladli Brahmin Yojana has been increased to Rs 1500 per month.
  • Industries are being provided assistance under the Women Empowerment Scheme to provide Rs 5,000 per month to women working in industries.
  • The government is fully dedicated to connecting the youth with employment and improving their lives.

Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of 54 development works worth Rs 150 crore

Dr. Yadav said that Basoda has been awarded 54 development works at a cost of Rs 150 crore.

  • In this, a new civil hospital with 150 beds was built at a cost of Rs 32.42 crore.
  • Bridge built on Jamandhar River at a cost of Rs 4 crore
  • Various roads constructed with Rs 13.21 crore
  • Transformer in 04 KV substation costing Rs 3 crore
  • Tap water schemes in 11 villages at a cost of Rs 8 crore
  • Sub jail for Rs 1.50 crore, barrack for 40 prisoners in Ganjbasoda
  • CHO residence and 3 sub-health centers built at a cost of Rs 1.79 crore. Besides, Bhoomi Pujan of 28 new development works costing Rs 85.84 crore was also performed.

“Will not allow any reduction in the development of Madhya Pradesh”: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that no hindrance will be allowed in the development of Madhya Pradesh. The central and state governments together are accelerating the pace of development. He said that new opportunities are being created in all sectors including agriculture, industry, health, irrigation, roads and drinking water. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is continuously busy in implementing the schemes of the Centre. Chauhan said that consideration should be given to taking the water of Betwa river to Parashari river. He said that considering the possibilities of mines and agricultural products in Basoda area, major development of industries is possible here. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is becoming increasingly powerful and self-reliant. He called for people’s cooperation in promoting the use of indigenous goods and de-addiction campaign.

Grand welcome to Chief Minister and Union Minister in Basoda Road Show

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were given a grand welcome during the road show in Basoda Nagar. Local citizens and various organizations greeted both the leaders by showering flowers. Riding on the chariot, both the leaders reached Government SGS College from Dharamkanta. During this time, the beating of drums, beats of dhapli and the performance of dance artists made the atmosphere like a festival.

On the arrival of the Chief Minister, people gave a cordial welcome and presented Baba Mahakal’s picture, mace, trident, sword and souvenirs based on the history and tourist places of Vidisha.
