Indore created a new record in health awareness with the participation of more than 10 thousand participants in the “One Indore-Run Indore” marathon. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the program virtually and praised the fitness and collective consciousness of the city.
Sunday morning was something different on the streets of Indore. There was excitement in the air, energy in the steps and such enthusiasm was visible in every corner of the city which proved that Indore is not just a champion of cleanliness but has moved towards a new era of health and fitness. Thousands of people took to the streets with the same feeling that Indore has to be made number one in every field.
Indore will get a new identity in the health sector: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the “One Indore-Run Indore” marathon virtually from the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. He said that Indore has made a mark in cleanliness and taste, now this city will also get a special place in fitness and health. CM said that running is the basic foundation of health and the way Indore residents have gathered for the marathon in large numbers, it shows the energy and collective consciousness of the city.

More than 10 thousand participants registered
More than 10 thousand participants registered in the program to participate in 3, 5 and 7 kilometer categories. CM Yadav said that this public participation proves that the people of Indore always remain at the forefront in awareness and positive initiatives.
A new strength to the spirit of United Indore
CM said that this event is not just a fitness program but a big step towards strengthening social unity. He said that even though he is not physically present, he is also emotionally a part of this marathon.
Indore’s number one goal gets new direction
The Chief Minister said that Indore has been continuously leading the country in cleanliness and now the time has come to become number one in the field of health also. He said that this program will promote healthy lifestyle in entire Madhya Pradesh and will make fitness a mass movement.
Government is serious about sports and fitness
CM Dr. Yadav said that continuous efforts are being made to promote fitness, sports and basic facilities for the youth in the state. He said that there has been continuous improvement in the performance of players from Madhya Pradesh in international competitions. Recently, Ms. Kranti Goud, who performed excellently in the Women’s World Cup, was also given an award of Rs 1 crore.
