The bride and groom suffered burns when hydrogen balloons burst during the couple’s entry into the Haldi ceremony. After this accident, he shared a video on Instagram and warned everyone about the importance of safety and the dangers of viral trends.
The bride and groom make a lot of preparations for the wedding. In the changing times, many types of accessories have started being used to make it grand. But sometimes it proves dangerous. Here we are telling you about one such wedding ceremony, where the Haldi event turned into a horrific accident when the hydrogen balloons kept for their grand entry burst, causing burns to both the bride and groom. The incident came to light when the couple shared a video on Instagram along with a long caption explaining how a trending idea turned into a horrifying incident.
In the video, the couple is seen walking inside carrying hydrogen balloons when one of the colorful guns used at the entrance accidentally turns upside down. The heat caused the balloons to react and cause a small explosion.
“We never imagined that the most special day of our lives would take such a drastic turn,” the couple wrote in their social media post. They added that what was supposed to be a “fun, trending haldi entrance” left them “literally and emotionally hurt.” They added, “We are sharing this reel to spread awareness of how dangerous these ‘viral ideas’ can be when safety is compromised.”
According to the caption, bride Tanya suffered burns on her face and back, while groom Kushagra suffered burns on his fingers and back. His hair also got burnt in the explosion. “On a day when we should have looked our best, we were applying concealer to hide our bruises, cutting our burnt hair, and coloring it to hide its ugliness,” he said. He further said that the smell of burnt hair persisted for a long time.
Couple cautions about “viral trends”
The couple said the incident occurred during a wedding ceremony where hydrogen balloons were to be released first, followed by colorful guns, but “in the chaos, someone accidentally fired a colorful gun at the balloons”. No one had imagined what happened after this. However, the injured were immediately taken to family doctors and a nearby hospital. No one suffered serious injuries.
Despite this shock, the couple continued to celebrate. He wrote, “As they say, the show must go on. And so it did. Despite all the difficulties, we managed to have the most beautiful moment of our lives during Varmala. It was not perfect, but still the most beautiful day of our lives.”
The couple ended the post with a warning to those who were planning to make grand wedding preparations. “We hope our experience serves as a reminder to everyone to exercise caution and prioritize safety over trends – no celebration is worth risking life,” he said.
