Mokshada Ekadashi 2025: Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month is known as Mokshada Ekadashi. This day is very auspicious for the worship and fasting of Lord Vishnu. This day is considered a good opportunity to worship Lord Vishnu. On this day Lord Krishna gave the knowledge of Geeta to Arjun. According to Hindu beliefs, worshiping Lord Vishnu on this day brings happiness in life.
By fasting and worshiping on the day of Mokshada Ekadashi, one attains salvation after death. All the troubles of life go away. In Hindu religion, Mother Tulsi is considered to be the form of Mother Lakshmi. On every Ekadashi, Mother Tulsi observes Nirjala fast for Lord Vishnu. In such a situation, by doing some special measures related to Tulsi Mata on this day, one gets the blessings of both Lord Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi. This would bring happiness and wealth in the house.

Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month will start on Sunday, 30 November 2025 at 9:29 pm. Ekadashi Tithi will end on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 7:01 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, hence the fast of Mokshada Ekadashi will be observed on 1st December 2025 only.
Special remedies related to Tulsi (Mokshada Ekadashi 2025 Tulsi Ke Upay)
- On the day of Mokshada Ekadashi, after morning bath, water or raw cow’s milk should be offered to the Tulsi plant. After this, one should circumambulate Tulsi seven times and chant the mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay’. This removes financial constraints.
- To please Lord Vishnu, saffron kheer should be offered to him on this day. Tulsi leaves must be included in the offering. By doing this remedy one gets the blessings of Shri Hari.
- On this day, after sunset, a ghee lamp must be lit near the Tulsi plant. It is believed that by worshiping Tulsi on this day, all sins are destroyed. Also one attains salvation.
