Even 22 days after the suspicious death of a Class IV student in Jaipur, the investigation is incomplete. The family has accused the police of slow investigation and serious negligence on the part of the school. CBSE’s prompt investigation also held the school guilty, but no action has been taken yet.
The suspicious death of an innocent fourth class student in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, has shocked the entire city. But what is more disturbing than this accident is that even after 22 days the investigation is still standing at the same place. The pain in the eyes of the family, the questions in the mind and the silence of the administration – the hope of justice between these three has now turned into a long battle. This case has now become a symbol of the accountability of not just one family, but the entire education system.
Family’s pain: “No concrete action till now”
Speaking to ANI, the father of the deceased student said that 22 days have passed, but the police investigation is very slow. Expressing sadness and anger, he said that considering the seriousness of the matter, the speed with which the action was expected was not visible anywhere.
The family said that they also met MP Kirori Lal Meena and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, pleading for justice. Both the leaders assured action, but according to the father, no action has been taken at any level till now.

CBSE’s prompt investigation and serious allegations against the school
Family members say that CBSE had completed the preliminary investigation within a day or two of the incident. In its report, the board called it a case of “gross negligence on the part of the school” and said the accident could have been prevented. In such a situation, the biggest question is that when CBSE can investigate so quickly, then why is the Rajasthan Education Department silent till now? The family is asking-
- If the school building was unsafe then who gave the permission?
- Why are the officers responsible for monitoring still away from action?
Tension in CCTV footage, teacher accused of serious negligence
In the CCTV footage, the student is seen stressed just before the incident. The father alleges that the class teacher did not pay attention to the girl’s condition, nor talked to her. This is a clear indication that the school staff made serious lapses in discharging their responsibilities. Family members say that if attention had been paid in time, perhaps this accident could have been averted.
Family demands: fair investigation and strict action against culprits
The family has clearly said that they will not be satisfied with mere assurances. Their demands are clear-
- The investigation should be expedited and conducted impartially
- Strict action should be taken immediately against the school management and responsible staff.
- Education department should clarify its role and responsibilities
- The facts of the incident should be made public
The family wants such an example to be set so that this type of negligence does not happen again in any school in future.
A family fight and a big test of the system
This incident is not just the death of a student, but a big question of administrative sensitivity, safety of the education system and accountability of schools. This family, which has been waiting for justice for 22 days, is now in the eyes of entire Rajasthan. Will they get relief or will this case also get lost in the files – this will be the most important test of the days to come.
