New Delhi. Nowadays a new cyber fraud is spreading rapidly – fake RBI voicemail scam. Fraudsters pretend to be RBI officials and scare people that your bank account is going to be blocked, your card is being suspended or your KYC has failed. They then press for immediate action on voicemail or call. In view of such tactics, PIB Fact Check has issued a strong warning not to respond immediately to any such voicemail, call or message.
