Galaxy S26 Ultra could pack larger battery than S25 ultra, tipped to include Exynos 2600- new details leaked

There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s battery size. Rumors have claimed that the S26’s battery will be larger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh, while other reports suggested that the battery capacity would remain the same.

However, a new leak from China claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will pack a slightly larger battery.

The source revealed that the Samsung S26 Ultra will feature a 5,200 mAh battery. While this isn’t a significant upgrade, it is still a welcome improvement, especially since the past few Ultra models shipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. Samsung has not officially confirmed any details about the battery yet.

Previous rumors also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The Galaxy S26 series will reportedly use the Exynos 2600 chipset in select markets, while in other regions the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The Exynos 2600 is said to be capable of delivering up to six times higher NPU (Neural Processing Unit) performance, far surpassing Apple’s A19 processor in the iPhone 17 Pro. This will greatly enhance on-device AI capabilities, providing users with substantial efficiency and performance gains over its predecessors.

However, how it will compare to Qualcomm’s flagship offering remains a point of discussion. According to tipster Jukan on X, the Exynos 2600 reportedly achieved 6,455 (single-core) and 11,621 (multi-core) on Geekbench. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 reportedly scored 3,832 (single-core) and 12,170 (multi-core).
