Of the two sent, the doctor on duty at Dhaka Medical declared the child Hafiz Omar (8 years old) dead and said that the condition of his father Deloar Hossain Ujjwal was critical. An elderly man named Kazem Ali Bhuiyan (75) of Malita Paschimpada village of Charsindur union of Palash upazila of Narsingdi died on the way to the district hospital after getting buried under a mud house. Nasiruddin (60), a resident of Uchhlampada Nayapada village of Danga Union of Palash upazila, is also among the dead.
