Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison now holds the second-richest position in the world, surpassing former CEO and founder Jeff Bezos of Amazon.
The highest single-day gain by any billionaire occurred on Thursday, June 12, when Ellison added an incredible $26 billion to his net worth, bringing his total wealth to $243 billion, according to Forbes’ World’s Billionaires Classification. With the increase, Ellison is now the second-richest person in the world, behind only Tesla CEO Elon Musk, surpassing Amazon chairman Jeff Bezos ($227 billion) and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg ($239 billion). Forbes estimates that Musk is worth a total of $407.3 billion.
