Actually, Yogi government has taken this big step to stop the increasing air pollution in Uttar Pradesh. The government has made it clear that vehicles causing pollution will be banned. A large population in these cities adjacent to Delhi is struggling with the effects of pollution every day. Therefore, diesel autos have been banned to improve air quality.

Diesel autos will be closed in these cities of UP also

Yogi government has made it clear that currently this plan has been implemented in Noida and Ghaziabad. But in the coming time, auto rickshaw ban will be implemented in other cities also in a phased manner to prevent increasing air pollution. All diesel autos will be removed in Baghpat by 31 December 2025. After this, auto rickshaw operations will also be stopped in Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli in a phased manner by 31 December 2026.
