160+ entrepreneurs from Uttar Pradesh are showcasing their traditional products in Khadi Mahotsav 2025. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Khadi Mahotsav 2025 is being organized to strengthen the rural economy of Uttar Pradesh and to accelerate the goal of self-reliant India. This ten-day festival being held in the capital is providing a big platform to local craftsmanship, entrepreneurship and traditional arts along with taking the Swadeshi movement forward in a modern form.
Uttar Pradesh’s cultural identity visible in Khadi products
More than 160 entrepreneurs from different districts of the state are displaying their traditional and local products in this festival. Hand-spun Khadi textiles, terracotta art, herbal products, jewelery and eco-friendly items have become the center of attraction here. This exhibition not only brings out the cultural diversity of Uttar Pradesh, but also gives an opportunity to rural and cottage entrepreneurs to market their products directly to consumers.
Rural entrepreneurs get modern equipment
The highlight of Khadi Mahotsav 2025 is the distribution of modern equipment to the beneficiaries. This includes dona making machines, popcorn units and electric potter’s wheel. This initiative has been started with the aim of increasing rural production, encouraging women entrepreneurship and providing new livelihood to the youth. Technological upgradation is taking place in rural industries with modern equipment, which will reduce the cost of products and also improve the quality. This step is promoting innovation in traditional industries and opening up new possibilities for economic development in rural areas.
