The father of Chetan Choudhary, accused in the death case of Pune businessman Ketan Vishal Agarwal, has accused his son of falsely implicating him while claiming his son is innocent. He claimed that Chetan was standing at a distance at the time of the incident. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
The case of death of Pune businessman Ketan Vishal Aggarwal has taken a new turn. Babulal Chaudhary, father of Chetan Chaudhary, who has been made an accused in this case, has claimed that his son is being wrongly implicated. He says that at the time of the incident, Chetan was standing far away from the place and he did not push Ketan Aggarwal.
This statement has come at a time when the investigating agencies are probing the case, which the police is seeing as a well-planned conspiracy. According to the police, the incident was allegedly planned several weeks in advance and culminated in the death of Ketan Aggarwal at Lohagarh Fort on June 18.
Father said- Son had left the house saying he had a business meeting.
According to media reports, Babulal Chaudhary told that Chetan had left the house telling his mother that he had to go to a business meeting. He had told the family that he would return by afternoon. The family had no knowledge of the incident that took place at Lohagarh Fort and they came to know about the entire matter only after the arrest of their son.
Babulal Chaudhary said that his son has right from the beginning denied the allegations of pushing Ketan Aggarwal. According to him, when he reached the police station, Chetan clearly said that he did not push anyone and he was present at a considerable distance from the incident site.
‘Siya Goyal was standing closest to Ketan’
The accused’s father claimed that Chetan had told him that Siya Goyal was standing closest to Ketan Agarwal just before the accident. However, Babulal Chaudhary did not make any direct allegations against Siya Goyal. He said he did not know what exactly happened during the incident, but his son said he was standing at a distance.
Meanwhile, the police and investigating agencies are investigating all aspects of the case. The veracity of the claims and statements made so far can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed. At present, this case remains at the center of investigation amidst many questions and all eyes are on the next action of the police.
