Premanand Maharaj: Premanand Maharaj said this for those who organize bhandara with ill-gotten gains

Premanand Maharaj

Premanand ji Maharaj: The tradition of organizing Bhandara has been going on since ancient times. Bhandara is a form of food donation, which is considered a way of earning virtue in Hindu religion. According to religious beliefs, by doing Bhandara one gets the blessings of Mother Annapurna and brings happiness and prosperity in life. Some people earn wrongly, but donate to the temple or organize Bhandara, which people consider right. But let us know what Premanand Maharaj says on this.

Bhandara from ill-gotten gains

Recently, during a sermon, a devotee asked the question that which of these actions is appropriate – organizing a Bhandara by earning money through arbitrary behavior, building a temple or appointing a priest. On this question, Premanand Maharaj replied, “If you organize a bhandara by arbitrarily acting or appoint a priest in the temple, you will go to hell. Earning money arbitrarily or in a wrong way is a sin. The word charity itself means money earned through hard work and religion, which is donated.”

Such charity is auspicious

Premanand Maharaj further said that if you earn 100 rupees from religion, then you can give 10 rupees from it to the poor or the needy. Use Rs 90 for your work. If you can give 10 rupees to a poor or a sick person, then such donation will be good and it will be religious.

gonna go to hell

Premanand Maharaj told that if you earn 10 lakh rupees through sinful conduct and give one lakh rupees to a saint, then even that saint will not be able to concentrate on bhajan. In such a situation you will feel guilty and go to hell. One should not do such charity by mistakenly acting arbitrarily. Those who commit sin by arbitrary behavior and think that if they give Rs 1-5 lakh to the saints or do some charity work with it in the temple, then they will become pure, but by doing so, the intellect of even the saint will get corrupted and you will have to go to hell.
