Pilot Namansh Syal died in Tejas aircraft crash at Dubai Air Show 2025. Shiv Sena-UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi strongly criticized Pakistani accounts making fun of the accident. He described Pakistan as a country living on the help of IMF.
New Delhi: Shiv Sena-UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has strongly targeted Pakistani social media accounts that made fun of the Tejas plane crash at the Dubai Air Show. Wing Commander Namansh Sayal died tragically in this accident. Expressing his anger, the Rajya Sabha MP reminded the trollers that they live in a country which is living on the help of the World Bank and the IMF. “Some Pakistani social media accounts are making fun of Tejas crash. Remember you live in a terrorist country that literally survives on the help of World Bank and IMF,” he posted on Twitter.
Priyanka replied to the trollers, saying, “People who only have ‘Made-in-China’ toys should be the last person to talk about indigenous defense fighter jets. These people can only form suicide bomber squads.”
By referring to ‘made-in-China toys’, the Shiv Sena-UBT MP indirectly took a dig at Pakistan’s use of China-made weapons during the confrontation with India in May. In that conflict, Pakistan used modern Chinese weapons like PL-15 and HQ-9P missiles and JF-17 and J-10 fighter jets on a large scale for the first time. However, these systems failed miserably against India’s air defenses, making it clear how dependent Islamabad is on China.
