Bhopal News: EOW of Madhya Pradesh raided the premises of Bhopal businessman Dilip Gupta. He is accused of selling a share worth Rs 10 for Rs 12 thousand.
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh’s Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) raided the office and house of Bhopal businessman Dilip Gupta. This action has been taken after the Enforcement Directorate took action regarding irregularities in buying and selling in the share market. The action took place simultaneously at the businessman’s house in Chuna Bhatti and his office in MP Nagar Zone-2. During the raid, a large number of property related documents, 1 dozen check books and bank related documents were found. 5 rounds of cartridges have also been found.

The EOW action has been taken following allegations of irregularities in trading in the stock market and fraudulent extortion of money from investors against their companies. EOW had registered a case against Dilip Gupta and his companies a month ago. In the same case, around 10 am on Friday morning, two different teams reached the office and lime kiln of businessman Dilip Gupta in MP Nagar Zone 2. Let us inform that the complainant Vineet Jain and his mother Lata Jain had filed an FIR of fraud against Dilip Gupta and others with the EOW on 9 October 2025.
Sold a share of Rs 10 for Rs 12 thousand 972
Let us tell you that Gupta and his companies – M/s DG Mines and Minerals Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Shree Maa Cementek Pvt. Ltd. are accused of embezzling Rs 35.37 crore from investors. Besides, he has been accused of cheating investors by selling shares worth Rs 10 for Rs 12 thousand 972. Investors have alleged that for his own benefit, Gupta lured us into false promises and even mortgaged many of our properties. Apart from this he also sold them. The family properties of the investors were also mortgaged by luring them with the lure of higher profits.

Dilip Gupta is originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Who has business ranging from manufacturing to consulting and now mining. He has completed Textile Engineering from Kanpur. After this he worked in Raymond Limited in Chhindwara in 1996. He also worked in Mysore Group and Bhilwara Group. Apart from this he worked in Bhaskar Textile of Bhopal. After this he formed his own company and became a businessman. Gupta currently runs companies named M/s DG Mines and Minerals Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Shree Maa Cementek Pvt. Ltd. in Bhopal.
