7 year old girl, 15 graduates and… 57 Mumukshus who are going on the path of salvation, will take initiation in a grand ceremony.

For the first time, people in Maharashtra will get to see such a historic spiritual moment, in which 57 Mumukshu will take initiation together on 23rd November. Mumukshu means one who desires salvation or is desirous of attaining liberation. Mumuksha is always ready to become free from the cycle of birth and death and achieve inner peace. This unique program will take place in the holy presence of Jain Acharya Somasundarasuriji, Shreyansaprabhasuriji and Yogatilakasuriji.

The Mumukshus who took initiation include 18 men and 39 women. These people are from states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu as well as from foreign countries like America. All Mumukshus are inspired by the discourses and spiritual guidance of Acharya Yogatilakasuriji. A huge pandal of 14,000 square feet is being prepared for this big and unique initiation program at Panchsheel Plaza on Hughes Road in Mumbai.

According to the organizer, more than 3000 people are expected to attend the program. Social worker Babulalji Mishrimalji Bhansali is getting this program done.

Mumukshus of all ages are included

The youngest Mumukshu to take initiation is a 7 year old girl, while the oldest Mumukshu is 70 years old. Apart from this, more than 15 graduates and highly educated youth have also decided to leave the world. Acharya Yogatilaksuriji has a very special place in the Jain community. He is the only Jain Acharya who has given more than 350 initiations in the last 10 years. Currently, he has more than 100 disciples, which is considered a unique achievement in Jainism.

This mass initiation ceremony to be held in the presence of Mumukshus, thousands of devotees and respected Jain Acharyas from different states and America will be a special moment full of pride, devotion and spiritual enlightenment (light) for the Jain community. When 57 Mumukshus will take the auspicious time of initiation together on 23rd November, then this day will cement its place in history by becoming a symbol of renunciation, restraint and the journey towards salvation even in the modern era.
