New Link Expressway: A 50 km long Greenfield link connecting the Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Purvanchal Expressway will be prepared, which will promote the journey between cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi and Ghazipur.
Agra Lucknow Expressway: Road network in Uttar Pradesh is constantly getting stronger, and now a new project is going to change the journey of people’s journey and business. A Greenfield Link Expressway will be built to connect Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Purvanchal Expressway. Once it is ready, vehicles going from Lucknow to Kanpur or Purvanchal will be directly connected without any interruption.
Why is this new link expressway special?
The Yogi government has already made UP a state with the most expressway in the country. Now the goal is to create a strong expressway grid by connecting them together. The length of this link expressway will be 49.96 km and it will cost about Rs 4,775.84 crore to build it. It will be of six lanes, which can be extended to eight lanes in the future.

This project will make the journey between big cities like Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Ghazipur fast and easy. Not only the journey, but also the industrial development, business and tourism will also benefit a big benefit.

Complete plan for root and construction
This link expressway will start from Bhaliya village of Agra-Lucknow Expressway and will be built up to Purvanchal Expressway’s Pahansa village. Will be included under construction:
- 2 big bridges
- 20 small bridges
- 60 Box Climate
- 21 low volume underpass (LVUP)
- 16 small wheeler underpass (SVUP)
- 8 wheeler underpass (VUP)
- 2 railway overbridge
- 6 flyover
- 5 interchange
