The dead include an elderly and an eight -year -old girl. Apart from this, more than 60 people were injured by being shot. According to media reports, these accidents occurred in different parts of the city, where people were celebrating independence.

The entire city echoed in Karachi at twelve o’clock in the night with the sound of fireworks and aerial firing. There was frequent firing in many areas, causing the lives of innocent people.

8 -year -old girl dies after being shot
In Azizabad Block-8, an eight-year-old girl suddenly shot and died on the spot. Apart from this, a man named Stephen in Korengi also died due to bullet. The third death also occurred due to air firing. According to reports, 64 people were injured in air firing, who were admitted to various hospitals in the city. The condition of many injured is said to be critical. These accidents occurred in areas such as Liaktabad, Baldia, Korangi, Kamari, Lyari, Akhtar Colony, Mahmudabad, Jackson, Orangi Town and Paposh Nagar. The police have appealed to the people to be safe while celebrating and avoid air firing.
