A dancer was brutally beaten for protesting against molestation at a wedding ceremony in Nuh, Haryana. Many people including the groom’s relatives beat him with sticks. Police are investigating the case on the basis of video.
A pre-wedding celebration turned into chaos in Haryana’s Nuh district when a dancer was brutally assaulted after she protested against the misbehavior of one of the groom’s relatives. The victim has been identified as dancer Payal Chaudhary. The dancer was attacked in front of everyone on 16 November. The video of the incident is going viral. It is seen that a man takes his hand very close to the chest of the dancer while waving the note. When the dancer shook his hand, he became furious.

The man immediately slapped the dancer. After this a terrible clash started on the stage. Within seconds, several people climbed onto the stage and surrounded the dancers with the intention of scaring them. The attacker, along with others, threw Payal on the ground and beat her mercilessly, and even hit her several times with a stick. During the melee, two other dancers and a person who tried to intervene were also beaten up.
Police have said they are examining several video clips of the attack to identify everyone involved. The investigation is ongoing and officials have promised to take strict action as soon as the culprits are found.
