Ketan Agarwal Death Case: On June 18, 2026, when 26-year-old real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal died after falling into a 400 feet deep gorge of Lohagarh Fort, it was a tragic accident for the whole world while trekking. Fiancé Siya Goyal had tears in her eyes and the police were also considering it as ‘accidental death’. Just four days after the funeral, when the murderer’s fiancee Siya Goyal reached Ketan’s house to offer condolences, she had no idea that a sharp question from Ketan’s sister would collapse her entire sinister conspiracy like a house of cards.
4 days after the funeral: When the murderer Haseena came home
According to highly placed sources of Pune Rural Police, the matter had become completely quiet after Ketan’s death. Four days after the funeral, Siya reached the Agarwal family’s house to console them. During the conversation, Ketan’s sister, in a very casual tone, started asking Sia about the events that took place at the time of the accident and immediately before. When Ketan’s sister asked sharp questions, Sia’s facial expressions started changing. Police sources say that there were huge discrepancies in the answers Siya was giving to Ketan’s sister. She was repeatedly getting entangled in her own statements. This suspicious behavior of Siya sowed the seeds of deep doubt in her sister’s mind. 3 years affair, 2004 calls and 238 hours of ‘secret’
When Pune Rural Police started digital and technical investigation after getting clues from the family, the figures that came out shocked everyone. Police investigation revealed that Siya Goyal was in a deep relationship with Chetan Chaudhary, a resident of Kondhwa, for the last three years. According to documents and call detail records (CDR), Sia and Chetan had called each other 2,004 times between January and June this year alone, i.e. in just 6 months. A total of 238 hours long conversation was recorded between the two. Not only this, the couple often used FaceTime and WhatsApp calls to avoid location surveillance. This data clearly testified that even during the printing of wedding cards, Siya was not giving time to her fiance but to her lover.

‘Snake drama’ and that well thought out conspiracy of Bali trip
According to the information available to the investigators, pushing Ketan from the top of Lohagarh Fort on June 18 was not his first attempt to commit suicide. Siya and Chetan together had made unsuccessful attempts to murder Ketan at least three times before.
- Creepy drama of snake: During one incident, Sia called Ketan on the pretext of taking a walk and suddenly tried to push him. When Ketan managed to control himself, Siya immediately made a ‘snake-snake’ noise and pretended that she was saving Ketan from the snake.
- Bali trip ruined: To prevent Ketan from suspecting Sia, a pre-wedding shoot of both of them was going to happen in Bali. But Siya deliberately hides Ketan’s passport so that the trip gets canceled and she can avoid spending time with Ketan.

Were there attempts to commit suicide before?
Police are now also investigating the possibility that the June 18 incident was not the first attempt. Investigation revealed that plans to harm Ketan had allegedly been made many times before. In one case, it is alleged that an attempt was made to push them on the pretext of saving them from a snake. Other alleged plans did not come to fruition due to circumstances. That hoodie in 33 degree heat… and the end of the murderers
On June 18, Sia got the “right opportunity” for which she had been waiting for months. He persuaded Ketan to accompany him to Lohagarh Fort by telling him about his birthday. On the other hand, her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary had come out with full preparation. To avoid location being tracked, Chetan left his mobile phone at his shop and left with the phone of one of his employees. He also kept his internet completely switched off from 7 am to 5:40 pm.
But no matter how vicious the crime, it always leaves clues behind. Even in the scorching heat of June and the temperature was 33 degrees Celsius, Chetan was following Ketan-Siya wearing a black hoodie and covering his face with a cap. This strange attire caught the attention of the police in the CCTV footage, which led to his identity being revealed. Ultimately, on the basis of that one question of Ketan’s sister, the police arrested both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary and sent them to jail. The dream of a royal wedding worth crores has now turned into a dungeon of law.
The investigation went from accident to murder
The case, which was initially believed to be an accident, has now turned into an alleged murder investigation. Phone records, CCTV footage, digital activities and questions raised by the family are at the center of the investigation.
