Omkar Gangwar, a retired assistant accountant from Sugar Mill, a resident of Mohalla Nizamganj in Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, was shot dead in his chest of his son Harshvardhan Gangwar alias Chintu (32 years).
On Monday night, the son ran the family with a hammer and the father opened fire. After the incident, the police have taken the accused father into custody along with guns.
Harshvardhan was harassing his family since morning. In the evening, the linter of the house started breaking. Father Omkar Gangwar interrupted him. It is said that in the meantime, Omkar took out the gun hanging in the room and got entangled with the son. Harshvardhan was shot in the chest of Harshvardhan during snatching.
