After 21 years, the roads of MP will again hear the echo of government buses, as the state government has decided to start a modern and systematic transport system named ‘Janbus’. This step is being considered as a historic change in the direction of passenger convenience and safe travel in the state.

Janbus will run in 25 districts, more than 6 thousand routes approved

A new government company named Passenger Transport and Infrastructure Limited will handle bus operations in the state. The company has approved 6000+ routes in 25 districts. This means that access to government buses will be ensured from big cities to small towns and rural areas. A total of 10,879 government buses will run on these routes, which will provide passengers with new convenience and safety in their daily journeys.
